I'M JANTZ
A traveling photographer based in western Kansas
I love documenting special moments for each of my clients; providing a modern, stylish and down to earth photography style, I'd love to capture your love.
I take a bit of a “fly on the wall” approach to my photojournalistic photography style, making sure to capture all the beautiful moments that tell your story while also trying not to be intrusive so the moments can be raw and authentic, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

THE OUTDOORS
In my free time I love to spend evenings on the patio with my fiancé, pets, & plants. I love being outdoors in general, but one of my favorite hobbies is cultivating native landscapes by planting trees, native grasses, bushes, and wildflowers wherever I get the opportunity. I also enjoy doing yard work around my home, including maintaining and propagating my personal plant collection (which is mostly large cacti, succulents and desert natives that require a different kind of attention than the in-the-ground natives I plant on the land). When I'm not feeling like tending to plants, I simply enjoying the solitude that being in nature offers; I got my love of photography through capturing the serenity found outdoors in the natural landscapes.
The Odds & Ends
Cooking is another of my favorite pastimes; I've created a pretty diverse set of skills in the kitchen that I get to share with friends, family & loved ones, that being said, if I'm cooking for myself, spice is king! When I get the opportunity, I've never been known to turn it down to dine out and try new foods, or visit a brewery to sample IPAs. I also have a love for modern architecture and interior design; honing my personal aesthetic in my home has been one of my favorite ongoing projects. In contrast to my domestic side, I'm a pretty big dirt track racing fan. I try to make it to as many races as I can throughout the year, but when I'm not able to make it to the track, I end up following the sport through a multitude of streaming platforms, on the go! As a perpetual introvert, living in Western Kansas has brought me so much peace in my day-to-day life in the form of wide open spaces with visible horizons, allowing me to recharge and hone my creativity in my own way.
